Leadership Development and Entrepreneurship

The Leadership Development and Entrepreneurship course is designed to equip participants with a proper perspective on leadership, enabling them to cultivate their own leadership competencies. Furthermore, students will learn to effectively apply these abilities to both personal growth and entrepreneurial ventures.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

  • Developing an appropriate perspective on leadership.​
  • Building one’s own leadership capabilities.​
  • Applying leadership capabilities to personal development and entrepreneurial pursuits.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

  • Corporate leadership, including: Chairpersons, CEOs, Boards of Directors, Members’ Councils, Executive Boards, Senior Leadership Teams, as well as Executive Assistants to the Chairperson and to the CEO.​
  • Middle managers within the enterprise, including functional directors and Heads/Deputy Heads of departments, divisions and business units.​
  • Professionals who wish to apply leadership capabilities to their own personal development and entrepreneurial initiatives.

– Self-Leadership: A journey of persistent self-cultivation for personal effectiveness.

– Harnessing individual potential and sharpening core competencies.

+ Emotional Intelligence (EQ) and Self-Mastery.

+ Critical Thinking, Learning, and Promoting a Learning Culture.

+ Communication and Articulation skills.

4 Topic 4: Developing Team Leadership Competencies

– Team Leadership: The challenging first step into the world of leadership.

– Achieving goals through others.

– Core competencies in Team Leadership:

+ Member Selection, Team Building, and Maintenance.

+ Coaching, Training, and Employee Development.

+ Persuasion, Motivation, and Rewards/Sanctions.

+ Task Delegation, Authority Empowerment, and Management by Objectives (MBO).

+ Conflict Resolution and Mediation within teams.

5 Topic 5: Developing Organizational Leadership Competencies

– Organizational Leadership: Scaling leadership from teams to organizations.

– Modern Organizational Concepts.

– Analysis of core Organizational Leadership competencies:

+ Building Purpose, Vision, and Strategic Direction.

+ Strategic Design, Maintenance, and Control.

+ Organizing, Coordinating, and Controlling resources and sub-units.

+ Change Management and Innovation Leadership.

+ Problem Solving and Crisis Management.

6 Topic 6: Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Plans

– Modern Leadership Development: The key is success.

– Development Roadmaps and Barriers.

– Organizational Leaders vs. Entrepreneurs.

– Assessment and Consultation on Leadership Roadmaps.

7 Topic 7: Leadership Development Project Presentation and Consulting

– Presenting leadership development ideas/projects within organizations.

– Presenting entrepreneurial leadership ideas/projects.

– Leadership Competency Forecasting.

8 Topic 8: Startup Project Consulting

– Students present business startup ideas and projects. Mentors provide 30–60 minute consultations on:

+ Feasibility.

+ Required Core Leadership Competencies.

+ Necessary Resources.

COURSE SCHEDULE & VENUE

All-inclusive Training Fee: 6,500,000 VND / participant. (The fee includes training materials, the final examination, and certification).

CERTIFICATION

Graduation Certificate: Upon completion of the course, qualified students will be awarded a Graduation Certificate issued by the Institute of Human Resources and Business Development (under the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City – UEH), which is valid nationwide.
